Hello friends,

I am going to share tutorial for Firmware backup of smartwatch.

Most of these smartwatchs are on MTK processor so we need a flashtool to perform our operation.

here is Download list those we will need in our mission.

1. Flash Tool —> Download

2.MTK drivers –> Download

3. SN IMEI Writer tool –> Download

4. ReedBack Extractor Tool –>Download

5. Config File –> Download

Getting started

1. On phone dialer press *#8375#
2. Write down all version summary info and keep it save for future reference
3. Write down your imei number by pressing *#06# and keep it save for imei recovery
LEts start main work.

1 Install the all drivers.

2 Connect your watch in on condition if that is on and choose COM Port option, if dead then simply attach to pc in switch off condition.

3 Right click on Start Button on windows and choose device manager and see if your watch is listed in COM PORT section if not or labled as Unknown device then right click on Device name and update its drivers manually and select the MTK Driver folder to do so.

4 If all went correct now you are almost ready to make firmware backup.

5. Now Remove Smartwatch from PC and Extract Flash tool folder.

6. Right Click on ‘Flash_tool’ and run as administrator.

7. Now Go to The ‘options’–>Backup Restore (No Action)—>Make NO Action selected.

8. Go TO Scatter/Config file option and browse Above downloaded config file folder and select config file.

9. now go to Readback Tab and click on ADD.

2 – click twice on the item appears in the main window, set name as ROM_MY choose in browser the path and save
3 – set as Physical start address 0x00000000 and as Length 0x01000000 or 0x00800000 or 00400000 (try them in this order) then ok (You have to try these 4 address in every try as all smartwatch have their own different Flash Address.
4 – turn off the watch, press < Readback > in the middle menu wait 2 seconds and connect through USB your watch
5 – wait until the upload is complete (big green ring)

10- if your MTK drivers were installed correctly then your flash tool will start all uploading and readback of firmware.

Once DONE then we will procced to next step.

Now second stage:
1 – download the app I’ve built attached here (Readback Extractor mtk) and unzip it
2 – create a folder where you intend to keep in safe the original firmware and name it for instance MyROM
3 – do a copy of Readback Extractor mtk 2.0.exe and place it inside the MyROM folder then click twice on it
4 – press <Load Readback file> and browse after the ROM_MY file created before with the Flash Tool then open
5 – Wait about a minute while the app will check bit by bit the integrity of your file
6 – If everything went ok and your file is healthy then app will show ” health 100% ” so you can proceed to the next step
7 – Press <Rebuild Firmware> and wait about one minute (it shows a progress counter)
8 – When appears the message ” – ALL DONE!!!” close app and go back in the MyROM folder, now you’ll find there a set of new files which are the original firmware kit ready to be flashed back in your Smartwatch anytime you want
9 – Enjoy flashing anything you like without any fear that something bad can happen.
